- PLASTEON FDA Food Contact Recycled Polypropylene (PP) is Birch Plastics Inc.'s flagship product. Plasteon PPCNT-FDA grades conform with the FDA for all food contact applications. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration has issued a No Objection Letter (NOL) for this product. Our 100% recycled natural color Polypropylene (PP) complies with 21 CFR 177.1520 and the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act 21 CFR 174.5. It has no odor or taste and gives you the ability to mold it into any color you want because it is pigment- and filler-free.
PLASTEON PCR Natural Polypropylene Copolymer (PPC) is Birch Plastics solution for clients that must have PCR and need to turn it into other colors besides black. At Birch we have developed a formula using PCR natural PP from bottle caps and adding it to our PIR natural PP to form a hybrid pellet containing 30% PCR and 70 % PIR making it 100% recycled.
- PLASTEON Filled Mineral product line offers Talc or Calcium options for Polypropylene and Polyethylene resin. Birch offers Talc and Calcium filled options put into virgin or recycled High Density Polyethylene, Polypropylene Copolymer, or Polypropylene Homopolymer to boost physical properties and offset plastic resin consumption. By incorporating talc or calcium, manufacturers can reduce polymer content, improve efficiency, and extend product lifespan all contributing to resource conservation and lower environmental impact.
