Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer that can be classified into two main categories Polypropylene Homopolymer and Polypropylene Copolymer. The primary difference between PP homopolymer and PP copolymer lies in their molecular structure and arrangement of the polymer chains.

About Polypropylene Homopolymer

Polypropylene homopolymer (PPH) is the most widely utilized in the polypropylene family. PPH offers a high strength to weight ratio and boasts excellent stiffness, superior scratch resistance and good chemical resistance against most inorganic acids, alkalis and salts. Polypropylene homopolymer has superb weldability characteristics that allow this material to be used in many corrosion resistant structures.
